A drinking contest killed a man in South Africa. He emptied a bottle of Jagermeister in two minutes and then collapsed. The competition was only about a mere 11 euros.

A bottle of Jägermeister killed a South African. The young man was taking part in a drinking contest at a liquor store in Mashamba Village, Limpopo. It was about drinking a whole bottle of the 35 percent liquor on Ex as quickly as possible. The winner should get £10, around €11.

The South African downed the liquor in two minutes and finally collapsed, as the British newspaper Daily Mail reports. He was taken to the local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Footage shared online shows people cheering and clapping while the man swallows the German digestif. When he’s finished, the pictures show him swaying from side to side, supported by a friend. Limpopo Police have launched an investigation.

Attitudes towards work also change over the generations. Much to the chagrin of Europapark boss Mack, who is currently desperately looking for workers for his amusement park. He cannot understand the work ethic of the younger generation, which is geared towards balance and little stress.
