The concert hall, which felt like 40 degrees, was filled to the brim, all tickets were sold out. The young fans in particular crowded into the front row with posters they had painted themselves, they wanted to be as close to the Hollywood star as possible. A star you can touch. That this was unfortunately a bit sober was felt during the course of the evening.
Jeff Beck and his band started punctually at 8 p.m., but there was no sign of Johnny Depp. After the third song, the fans started getting restless and shouted “Johnny” onto the stage. The rock guitarist didn’t let the roaring Johnny fans throw him off and put on a 1A performance. At 8:30 p.m. the time had finally come. Without any announcement, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star played his guitar and you could hardly hear his sounds because of the loud fan screams. In a loose shirt, with a pigtail and sunglasses, the actor – in good old Johnny Depp manner – entered the stage.
The superstar convinced the audience with his great live performance. Especially with a soulful ballad he made the hearts of the fans beat faster. The atmosphere was great, the guests cheered and even Depp escaped a grin or two. It was all the more surprising when the concert was over at 9 p.m. The band stopped playing without any goodbyes, and the Hollywood star held up a drink in a giant wine glass as a sign of goodbye – a dig at Amber Heard?
Finally, during the trial, a video was shown showing the actor holding an XL pint glass of wine. The fans don’t really care, because the star leaves the stage with this gesture. The crowd wondered if it was an intermission or if the concert was really over. They demanded an encore and were able to get the band, including Johnny Depp, back on stage. Unfortunately, after a short song and a red bra as a fan gift for the “Golden Globe” winner, the show was really over.

Unfortunately without success, the area was cleared at 9:30 p.m. The majority of the fans were frustrated by the length of the concert, as they had hoped for a bit more for the money. But not everyone saw it that way. Many fans were happy to be able to experience such a Hollywood star (up close) – and it was worth every penny to them.
