Striker Jann-Fiete Arp wants to restart his career in Kiel. After a less pleasant time at FC Bayern, things can only go uphill for him. Nevertheless, he looks back positively on the experience in Munich.
No “lost” time at FC Bayern: Jann-Fiete Arp does not describe his time without a chance at FC Bayern as “lost”. “When I think about the fact that I also experienced a championship there and was simply allowed to train at a level and then play in the preparation – that’s an experience that nobody can take away from me,” says Arp on Sky. “I’ve had experiences most people will never have.”
Short, compact, clear
Arp felt “supported” in Kiel: Arp had switched from HSV to Bayern in the summer of 2019, but was far from ever playing with the professionals there. Today, after moving to Kiel, he says: “For me, it’s just this team that caught me when I wasn’t feeling so well.”
