The 109th Tour de France has its first Corona case. As the Team AG2R announced on Saturday, the French professional Geoffrey Bouchard has to leave the race after a positive quick test. It is the fifth task of this year’s tour, the other four riders got off their bikes due to fall injuries.
AG2R went on to say that all drivers and attendants were given quick tests every three days. There were tests by the organizers. Before the start of the tour in Copenhagen, six drivers had to leave due to positive tests.
The world association UCI had relaxed the corona rules a few days before the start of the tour.
