The 109th Tour de France has its first Corona case. As the Team AG2R announced on Saturday, the French professional Geoffrey Bouchard has to leave the race after a positive quick test. It is the fifth task of this year’s tour, the other four riders got off their bikes due to fall injuries.
AG2R went on to say that all drivers and attendants were given quick tests every three days. There were tests by the organizers. Before the start of the tour in Copenhagen, six drivers had to leave due to positive tests.
The world association UCI had relaxed the corona rules a few days before the start of the tour. Instead of PCR tests, only rapid tests were sufficient, and a team no longer has to leave the race after two drivers have tested positive. A new rule also states that a driver can remain in the race despite a positive test if he is symptom-free and not contagious. Such was the case with Dutchman Bob Jungels, a teammate of Bouchard. On the first rest day on Monday there are mandatory tests for all drivers and supervisors.
His opponent probably didn’t expect that: the young tennis player Kalin Ivanovski came up with something very special at the match point of his Wimbledon second round game – and surprised everyone with audacity.

Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland have dominated the summer of transfers in Europe so far – one because he wants to push through his move with all his might, the other because every club in the world would have liked to sign him. In terms of salaries, however, both are far from the top.
