Roger Federer was listed in the ATP rankings for 25 years. Now the tennis maestro is leaving, causing horror in the tennis world.

ATP rankings without Federer: Roger Federer loses his place in the men’s ATP rankings for the first time in 25 years, as reported by “Tennis World USA”. The Swiss tennis pro had been in the world rankings since he was 16 years old, namely since September 22, 1997, and has always been a fan favourite.

Short, clear, compact

Few tournaments lately: Thanks to his Wimbledon points from the previous year, Federer was recently placed in the top 100. However, since the beginning of 2020 he had only played a few tournaments due to a knee injury and was therefore hardly able to score points for the ATP ranking.

Former number one: Federer was world number one for four and a half years after the 2004 season. In total, the 40-year-old has won 20 Grand Slam titles and 103 titles on the ATP World Tour. The Swiss wants to return to the tour in autumn.
