Even during his time at FC Augsburg, footballer Caiuby made the headlines because of incidents off the field. Now the 33-year-old has even ended up in custody.
The former Bundesliga professional Caiuby is currently in the Gablingen prison north of Augsburg. As the “Augsburger Allgemeine” reports, a judge sent the footballer into custody.
It’s about an incident on May 26 in Augsburg’s nightlife. Caiuby is being investigated for grievous bodily harm after allegedly kicking a man in the face.
During his time at FCA, Caiuby was sometimes noticed for his lack of discipline. When he returned too late from the winter break and was also spotted in a disco, the club released him. After 100 missions it was over for him. The offensive player is currently without a club and was last under contract in Greece.
