You probably know that fatal moment when you stand in a dressing room in a shop at the beginning of a warm day and try on a bikini for the summer? The light always comes unfavorably from above, the bikini size has sometimes fitted better. My body then seems to literally swell out of the cabin and my pallor doesn’t help either. My instinct is to flee immediately. But summer is nothing without a bikini.

Well, that’s behind us, the bikini is bought but now the holidays are coming and we have to drop the covers.
In my experience, it takes 5 things to make summer nice after all – and it usually is, but this is how it gets even better:

Losing weight is usually a challenge, but summer is the best time, I think. It is warm and the hunger subdued. Are you also annoyed by the constant cooking or the lousy canteen at lunchtime? Then this way of losing weight might be the right one for you:
Try “eat only once a day”. Pick your favorite meal and don’t bother eating all day. Of course, it’s easier if you don’t have to cook for anyone. And when it’s warm.
In my experience, after two to three days, the stomach gets used to being empty during the day. No snacks will not lure the feeling of hunger. Drinking a lot is important, water with ginger, lemon or just like that. Sometimes a tea or coffee with milk but without sugar. Whatever you like to drink. I get through the day so well. Do the following exercises one after the other for a maximum of 7 minutes in total
1. Leg scissors horizontally: Lying on the floor, raise your legs slightly and spread them sideways, then cross them in the middle, back to your sides. 50 sec max.”
2. Superman: Lie on stomach, raise arms at right angles, legs straight off floor, rocking slightly Max. 50 sec.
3. Vertical leg scissors : Same as 1, only up and down max.50 sec.
4. Plank : Turn on your stomach, support yourself on your forearms and toes, your body is straight like a plank and hold for max. 50 sec.
5. Sit ups : Back on your back, normal sit ups, right, middle, left alternately, max 50 sec.
6. Side Plank : Body lies straight on side, then lift, brace sideways on forearm and side of foot and hold, 30sec. every side
7. Final phase: lie on your back, legs in the air, lift your buttocks slightly off the floor, max 30 seconds, then rest for 30 seconds. Finished.
These exercises also have other health benefits:
Abdominal exercises prevent back pain, better posture relieves the strain on the spine, prevents hernias, improves breathing and stimulates digestion.

You might find the simplest solution funny, but I’ve had some real success with it. self tanner. We’ve got a bit of color up our arms and knees now, but by the time the bikini arrives, my thighs will remind me of the chicken drumsticks in the fridge. So, quite simply self-tanner on it.
Luckily, it’s not as yellow today as it used to be, and if you do it right, it’ll be cool: First apply a normal cream so that the skin isn’t too dry and absorbs too much tint in some places. Then the self-tanner on it. Then wash the palms of your hands and then apply a normal cream to your hands so that there are no edges on your wrists.
Eh voila, done this a few times (three days in a row) and you look like you’ve already been on vacation. PS Don’t forget your sunscreen, though, because this tan only offers a tiny bit of protection.
Summer is the best time for cold water treatments and they are actually really pleasant. These three only last one to two minutes in total and do not hurt at all after a warm shower. On the contrary, you will get out of the shower feeling refreshed. The effect is amazing, not only the immune system is strengthened, but our skin is well supplied with blood and looks much better.
Facial casting – also called beauty casting in naturopathy
Start with the water jet (unscrew the shower head for a thick jet) on the right temple, then across the forehead to the left temple and across the forehead back to the right side of the face. Now draw three vertical lines up and down the right side, then in the same way across the left side. Then circle the face clockwise three more times. Breathe in and out slowly through your mouth. Finally, just dab your face.
Armguss
Start with the right arm. The jet should be slowly guided from the right side of the little finger over the back of the hand upwards over the arm to the shoulder and from there flow like a coat over the arm for about ten seconds. Then it goes back down to the thumb. Then the left arm comes into play as well. Finally, pour your left and right palms over it. Finished.
Cold knee cast
Run the stream of water from the right little toe on the outside of the leg to a hand’s width above the knee, hold for about 5 to 10 seconds and let the water run down the middle of the leg. Then guide the jet down the inside of the leg. Do the same with the left leg.
As the saying goes, “The only alternative to aging is to die”. Very realistic approach. Still, it’s not always easy to watch, or even feel, the body and mind aging. It doesn’t matter, we’ll never be as young as this summer and the serenity of aging is also something that gives hope.
