However, the danger only lasts around two hours, because the storms are quickly moving to Poland and the Baltic Sea. Nevertheless, one should be careful on Friday afternoon in Rostock, Stralsund, Greifwald, Schwedt, Frankfurt (Oder), Cottbus and Görlitz. Storms can still occur there.
The tornado danger in Germany is low. In Poland, on the other hand, where the thunderstorms also meet hot air in the afternoon, tornadoes can occur just across the border.
