It is warm again in Germany and not only humans, but also animals are happy about the bathing season. Since dogs cannot sweat, our four-legged friends are all the more happy about a refreshing dip in the cool water. Unfortunately, not every dog owner has a lake, river or stream in the immediate vicinity. So what can be done so that the dog doesn’t have to go without bathing fun on hot days?
The answer is a dog pool. They differ from conventional above-ground pools in a few points: It is important that the pool is particularly hard-wearing and can withstand dog claws and teeth. After all, scratches and bite marks at the pool when playing and romping are almost unavoidable. Particularly practical: Many of the pools are kept quite neutral in design and therefore also serve as a classic pool, for example for children.

These are the most popular pools for dogs online. Because folding pools for dogs have several advantages: They can usually be packed up small and are therefore ideal for on the go. Even in winter you don’t have any space eaters that take up storage space in the garage, garden or basement. The downside: These pools are usually less durable than the plastic alternative.

If you are looking for something particularly robust, a pool made of solid plastic is the best choice. They are not only very stable, but can also be used as a dog bed in winter. With a suitable dog cushion, the pool is your pet’s permanent retreat. The downside: These models cannot be folded or easily stowed away. The pool is therefore less suitable for trips or excursions.
