An application for a name change and a new birth certificate that reflects her new gender identity has been filed in Los Angeles court. According to court documents, the 18-year-old insists on changing her name and correcting her gender from male to female.

The new name will be Vivian Jenna Wilson. She previously went by the name Xavier Alexander Musk. Her mother is Justine Wilson, who divorced Musk in 2008.
