Like the “Olympic Games” in miniature: “The Finals” will take place again in summer 2022 for the third year in a row. From June 23rd to 26th, this event brings together different championships from 14 sports and takes place in Berlin within four days. There are 190 titles up for grabs and ARD and ZDF are showing the event. But what is there to see and when?

Both broadcasters basically divide the days alternately. Das Erste makes the start on TV. It starts at 2.20 p.m. on June 23rd, on June 24th ZDF starts at 1.05 p.m., on Saturday June 25th it continues on the first from 10 a.m. and on Sunday June 26th ZDF closes the “ Finals” from 10.15 a.m.

The championships were merged in Berlin to create awareness and visibility for smaller sports like archery and canoe racing – but more well-known competitions like swimming and track and field are also held at the “Finals”. The entire program is available on the event’s website.
