The price screw continues to turn – upwards. In the current week, supermarkets and discounters have made several products more expensive across the board. FOCUS Online lists the products and says what they cost now – and how you can continue to save.
Supermarket prices continue to go through the roof. Almost over 50 products have become expensive since Monday! FOCUS Online is the complete list of prices exclusively.
Especially in the refrigerated counter, there are the most violent price increases this week.
The most recent example: Strawberry fruit quark from Aldi Süd’s own Milsani brand. Customers would have had to pay 99 cents for this last Wednesday, but now the top discounter is suddenly charging 1.49 euros for the same pack. That makes a price jump of 50 cents and a whopping 50 percent.
On top of that! Half a kilogram of quark costs 1.39 euros for the first time. That’s a price increase of 40 cents. Quark has never been so expensive!
The smaller pack of low-fat quark (250 grams) now costs twice as much. Quark now costs 70 cents instead of 36 cents.
Particularly bitter: According to research by FOCUS Online, this is the second hefty price increase for quark products within a month.
According to information from FOCUS Online, almost 20 products from the refrigerated counter have become more expensive in the refrigerated counter.
Greek-style cream yoghurt from “Ja” now costs 2.19 euros at Rewe. The price was €1.99 at the beginning of last week. Make a price jump of 20 cents.
At Lidl, the fruit quark from “Linessa” (for example the “Cherry” variety) now costs 1.49 euros. Last week the price was still 1.19 euros.
Rewe’s own brand “Ja” yoghurt is no longer available for 49 cents, but for 65 cents. That’s a price increase of 16 cents in just four weeks.
Skyr from Aldi’s own brand “Milsani” no longer costs 1.19 euros, but 1.69 euros. Makes a plus of 50 cents.
Yellow sausage “Mein Bayern” costs more at Edeka. The supermarket giant increased the pack from 1.99 euros to 2.29 euros. A plus of 30 cents!

The price for the minced meat rolls from “Jack’s Farm” at Aldi Nord has also doubled. The kilo bag no longer costs 5.99 euros, but 9.99 euros. An increase of almost 70 percent.
Basically, meat has become more expensive in all supermarket and discounter chains. For a kilo of minced meat (mixed), basic prices range from 12 euros to sometimes 22 euros. Schnitzels are available from 4.44 euros and up (e.g. Rewe, husbandry class 2, around 450 grams).
There are also adjustments to coffee.
Instant coffee became more expensive on Monday. At Aldi Süd, the corresponding own-brand product “Amarory” cost 3.99 euros just ten days ago and is now 4.29 euros. Rewe, Aldi Nord, Lidl and Netto Marken-Discount also increased the coffee product by 30 cents. The 500-gram packs now cost over four euros across the board.
