Bathers pulled a four-year-old boy out of the water in an outdoor pool in Geislingen, Baden-Württemberg, presumably saving his life.

First responders probably saved a child’s life with their courageous intervention in an outdoor pool in the Zollernalb district. Bathers had noticed the four-year-old at the bottom of the swimming pool in Geislingen, the police said on Friday. They took the child out of the water. A lifeguard immediately began first aid.

The boy was taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter after the incident on Thursday. According to the first findings, there is no danger to his life, it said.
