Barbara still thinks back to the time with her beloved father full of happiness. After his death, he was buried with a large funeral service in Berlin. However, according to Barbara, this should not have been his wish!
Barbara still regularly visits her father’s grave in the Westend, as she explained to “Bild”: “I’ll bring him flowers, light a candle for him.” to a cemetery in Vienna. The actress clarified: “In 2000 he had stipulated in his will that he wanted to be buried in Vienna-Grinzing next to our mother Ida Krottendorf. In a small circle, only family and close friends. That was his wish.”
But this wish was never fulfilled. On the contrary! Barbara Wussow remembered: “His last wife, Ms. Scholz, organized a huge funeral service in the Berlin Memorial Church. We children had to accept that. I struggled with that for a long time. Knowing full well that he wouldn’t have liked that.”
