Munich may have to muster more than 40 million euros for the Senegalese. Two years ago, Bayern had “given away” Thiago Alcantara to the LFC out of good nature for 22 million euros.

Limited funds: But this is not the only construction site. “Basically, we’re trying to strengthen our team,” says Bayern’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic on “Bild”. But financially, the German flagship club can no longer keep up with the really big ones: “The transfer market is not easy and it always depends on the financial possibilities of the club.”
Alternatives in hand: If, contrary to expectations, Mané does not move to the Isar, the German champions still have alternatives. “Of course you can’t reduce yourself to one option, you have to have several options,” said the Bosnian.
