Arrest after threats: According to the Daily Mirror, Willian, a former Arsenal and Chelsea player, can claim success in the police investigation he has been asked to make. The authorities in Sao Paulo arrested a man who is said to have sent death threats to the 33-year-old.

Family also targeted: The threats began after Willian’s current club Corinthians Sao Paulo lost a football game in April. When the ex-Brazil international’s wife and two daughters were finally involved, he dared to go to the police.
Willian’s Premier League history: Willan played in the Premier League for seven years after joining Chelsea in 2013 for €35m from Ukrainian club Anzi Makhachkala. During his time with the Blues he won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League before moving to rivals Arsenal when his contract expired.
