The American space Agency NASA will continue to work with “Roscosmos” to reach an agreement on sending crews to the International Space Station (ISS) on Russian Soyuz spacecraft. This is reported by TASS with reference to the NASA press service.
“NASA continues to work on an agreement with Roscosmos, which will allow us to send integrated crews to the ISS on Soyuz and commercial manned spacecraft in a working manner,” the department said.
On June 10, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order in which he allowed Roscosmos to negotiate with NASA on the implementation of the agreement on cross-flights. This decision was coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and other “interested federal bodies” of the executive power.
In May, the CEO of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, stated that the decision on cross-flights to the International Space Station (ISS) would be made after the completion of internal procedures in June.
