Salah wins award for the second time: On Thursday evening, the Professional Footballers’ Association’s (PFA) announced the player of the year. Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has won the award for the second time in his career, reports Liverpool Echo. The Egyptian scored 31 goals for Liverpool in all competitions last season.

Klopp talks about Salah’s success: During the award ceremony, his coach Jürgen Klopp spoke about his striker in an interview: “What I really love about this award is that it is chosen by the players,” Klopp told the PFA. “So he absolutely deserved it and that’s why he won this wonderful trophy for the second time.”
‘He’s a workhorse’: Still enthusiastic about his stardom, Klopp said: ‘The moment I knew it was going to be brilliant was when I got to know him as a person. Because he is full of energy, he never stops developing and he is a workhorse.” Salah is currently playing poker with the LCF about a new contract. His contract expires in 2023.
