Liverpool FC rejected FC Bayern’s first offer for Sadio Mané because it was too low. Now Munich’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic wants to attack and bag the deal in England himself.
First offer rejected: In poker for Bayern Munich’s planned king transfer Sadio Mané (30) from Liverpool, the opening offer from the German record champions at Jürgen Klopp Club did not warm anyone: 24.5 million euros plus five million for possible bonuses are at a market value of 80 million euros too little. Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic now wants to take things into his own hands.
Short, compact, clear
Personal meeting: According to information from “Sport-Bild”, the 45-year-old is traveling to Liverpool this week to personally negotiate with the LFC club bosses about a move from Mané to the Isar. Salihamidzic has been in intensive contact with Liverpool’s sports director Julian Ward for days, reports the sports newspaper.
New offer: According to reports, FC Bayern and winger Mané have agreed on a three-year contract with an annual salary of 20 million euros. The people of Munich are apparently willing to improve the transfer offer to 35 million euros plus five million bonuses, as recently reported by The Times.
