Britain’s Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have released a new photo of their daughter Lilibet. It was created in Windsor of all places, which Harry and Meghan had left scandalously.

In a light blue dress with a white bow in her reddish hair, the girl sits smiling on a green lawn. Photographer Misan Harriman, a longtime friend of the couple, posted the picture to his Instagram page on Monday. “It was such an honor to celebrate Lilibet’s first birthday with my family and hers,” wrote the British photographer.

The photo was taken last Saturday (June 4) on Lilibet’s first birthday at a garden picnic with close family and friends, the spokesman for the Royals said on Monday, according to the US magazine “People”. As the broadcaster Sky News reported, Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall and her family are said to have been among the guests. The celebration took place at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, where Harry and Meghan were staying during Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th Jubilee celebrations.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan had come to England with their entire family for the first time since their retirement from the royal family. Lilibet’s older brother Archie (3), whom the Queen saw as a baby, was also there. The visit was the first opportunity for the 96-year-old monarch to meet her second youngest great-granddaughter, Lilibet, who was born in the United States.
