Tottenham Hotspur are planning a third after two transfers already made. However, their target player is elusive, so they have to resort to plan B.
New defender: After Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan could not be obtained for Tottenham Hotspur, the English now want to spend up to 50 million euros for the Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer (25) from Torino to strengthen their own defensive department, reports the Italian newspaper “Calciomercato”.
Short, compact, clear
Bid doubled: Inter Milan are also said to have expressed an interest in the Brazilian. Although the Hotspurs are said to have doubled Milan’s bid, Bremer is toying with the idea of going to Milan.
Few goals conceded: The Brazilian was part of Italy’s fifth-best defense last season despite only finishing 10th. His side have conceded just 41 goals in 38 games, with Bremer keeping eight clean sheets in his 33 Serie A appearances. He also scored three goals and provided one assist.
