To be eligible for the postseason, the Seattle Seahawks must win. They will need to win on the road against the Los Angeles Rams Sunday in Week 15.
This path could be made slightly easier.
The Rams placed Jalen Ramsey, star cornerback, and Tyler Higbee (starting tight end) on the COVID-19 List Monday afternoon.

They will not be playing in Monday Night’s match against the Arizona Cardinals. Their status for Sunday against Seattle is still up in the air.
At the time of publication, no indication has been given as to whether or not the two players were placed onto the COVID roster as a result a positive test. Both players will need to complete the required protocols before they can be returned to the 53-man roster by the league office on Saturday.
Ramsey is on track for another All Pro season. Higbee, however, has started all Rams games at the tight end and carried a greater workload in 2021 following Gerald Everett’s departure from Seattle. Losing either of them would be a major loss for LA and a great boost for the Seahawks.
UPDATE:
Tom Pelissero from the NFL Network stated that both players were added to the COVID roster because of positive tests and not because they were close contacts. Their availability for Week 15 against the Seahawks will be determined by their vaccination status and whether or not they have been vaccinated.
