In Udmurtia, work on the national project “Safe and high-quality roads” has been fully completed. This was reported in the press service of the head and government of the republic. This season, more than two billion rubles were spent on repairs, while most of the costs, almost one and a half billion, were taken over by the regional budget, the release says.
According to the head of Udmurtia, at the expense of the national project, the road surface was repaired at 109 facilities, two more were reconstructed. The total length of the updated sections was almost 140 kilometers. In addition, 34 kilometers of sidewalks were put in order in the region.
The government explained that the objects included in the list of the national project were selected not only on the recommendations of road workers and traffic police, but also on the basis of complaints from residents. The “Map of the killed roads of the ONF” has become one of such sources of information.
The task of the national project “Safe high-quality Roads” initiated by the President of Russia is to increase the share of roads in the regional network in a regulatory state to 60% by 2030. Now this indicator is 48.9% in the republic.
