He’s trusting the unique sight will raise people’s spirits during the competition, and put a smile on their faces following a challenging year.
“They will all stay up until England are from the contest,” he clarified. “I’ve got another 15 or so, so I will be changing and shifting them continuously.”
The 47-year-old, who lives with his dog, knew he wanted to decorate his house after it obtained a fantastic reception during the last World Cup.
He said:”It’s fine for your village and it surely gets people talking and builds a sense of excitement.
“Lots of people have stopped me to chat, and there’s always folks outside taking photos.”
Matthew has been collecting shirts for around 25 years, and says that his favourite is a yellow England goalkeepers shirt because”it’s something a bit different.”
“I also collect England cricket and rugby tops from over time – I do not comply with a club ”
Although Matthew is surely encouraging England through his domestic design, he does not have too much religion in the side.
“I don’t expect England will do too well. We always expect too much of them, and they tend to buckle under pressure during big competitions.
