Important damaging winds are anticipated in California this week by the San Francisco Bay region all the way down to Los Angeles.
The strongest winds at the San Francisco Bay area and Northern California would be on Monday and to the night as winds can gust around 50 to 70 miles with locally higher gusts.
Additionally, with the dry end, a flame weather watch was issued south of San Francisco where these states could spread fires fast.
For Southern California, winds will pick up tonight into Tuesday and may gust as large as 70 to 80 mph with locally gusts around 90 mph.
Meanwhile, a few areas across the nation could see heavy snow within the upcoming few days.
The first place is the southern fantastic Lakes in western New York and western Pennsylvania in which a winter storm watch and lake effect snow was issued.
The heaviest snow will probably likely be north of Syracuse, New York, also between Buffalo, New York and Erie, Pennsylvania, in which a few regions could see up to 16 inches of snow.
Additionally, there may be some slick streets from Illinois to Ohio and northern Kentucky at which 1 to 2 inches of snow is possible because of a fast moving storm system.
Another place in the nation which will see heavy snow would be at the Rockies out of Colorado into New Mexico where locally greater than a foot of snow will be possible within the next 24 to 48 hours.
