Russia at the first query will provide Belarus “comprehensive assistance for security” in case of external military threats. The President Alexander Lukashenko stated today at the meeting of the defense Ministry of Belarus, BelTA has learned.
“We are with him (Vladimir Putin) agreed: at the first the query will be provided full assistance for the security of the Republic of Belarus”, – said Alexander Lukashenko.
He noted that Minsk has a contract with Moscow in the framework of the Union state and the CSTO.
“just these points come under this agreement. So today with the President of Russia, I had a long, detailed conversation about the situation. I must say, I was even more surprised – absolutely dedicated to what’s happening,” – said the Belarusian leader.
