The defense of the actor Mikhail Efremov was not asking the court to cancel the measure of restraint in the form of house arrest, but seeks permission he walks. TASS said the lawyer Elman Pashayev.
"We’re not talking about security or something like that. Let it stay on house arrest. But we ask you to allow Ephraim walking for an hour a day. He needs this for health reasons", – said Pashayev.
The Moscow city court on August 17 will consider the appeal against the extension of house arrest of Ephraim, accused of committing a road accident with a deadly outcome. However, the complaint has not yet been revealed.
On Tuesday, August 11, before the regular meeting Efremov was taken from Presnensky court in Botkin hospital from-for sharp deterioration of state of health. Presnensky court of Moscow postponed the meeting on 18 August and sent a request to the Botkin hospital for further diagnosis.
