Boris Round, the personal physician of the actor Mikhail Yefremov, accused in the deadly crash, said that the actor is not suffering from alcoholism.
Round in an interview with “Moskovsky Komsomolets” reported that it was conducting surveillance of Ephraim and his family for about 20 years. According to him, the actor himself is now in potential stroke condition that happened before.
The doctor said that Efremov is an alcoholic, the actor, in his words, “eight or nine months to work and not take a drop of alcohol in my mouth”.
Round noted that in the blood of the actor is not found drugs.
“Nonsense. It’s not drugs, and sleeping pills. He had serious drug use – believe me”, – assured the expert.
In the middle of the week Ephraim was hospitalized from the courthouse in a serious condition in the intensive care unit of Botkin hospital in Moscow. It was noted that he was allegedly diagnosed with a stroke.
Efremov on that day arrived at the court, strongly lame. To get out of the car he was helped by the bailiffs. The court eventually decided to postpone until August 18.
Later appeared the video, where Ephraim being taken in the hospital corridor in a wheelchair.
At previous hearings the court was shown video evidence in the case. The inspector of traffic police on the video asked Ephraim if he was the driver of the car, to which he replied in the affirmative. At this Yefremov said that not guilty of causing death courier Sergey Zakharov in the accident because it “remembers nothing”.
