The Senator said that the Belarusians are tired of the current President, not because he was “bad and does not provide a decent standard of living”. Kalashnikov added that Lukashenka is taking a lot of economically literate steps.
He compared the situation in Belarus with the marsh fire, which throws the wood to the West. According to him, shooting with live ammunition put a barrier between the President and citizens of the country. The Senator also expressed concern over the relations between Minsk and Moscow in case you come to power “anti-Russian forces”.
