Of Kazakhstan from August 17, plans to begin a phased resumption of flights from seven countries, including Russia. This was announced by the civil aviation Committee of the Ministry of industry and infrastructure development.
“Since August 17, 2020 gradually resume international flights to the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Germany, the Netherlands, Egypt, Ukraine and Russia”, — stated in the message.
The decision was made taking into account the recommendations of the Ministry of health of Kazakhstan and the inter-Ministerial Commission to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The Committee noted that the countries “support the resumption of flights to Kazakhstan with observance sanitary-epidemiological requirements”.
However, as added in Kazakhstan, “to fly to Russia require permission from the Russian side”.
It is expected that the number of flights will depend on existing intergovernmental agreements and commercial load of aircraft on each route.
From June 20 Kazakhstan resumed air communication with Turkey, South Korea, China, Georgia, Japan and Thailand.
