The head of the Lithuanian foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius told, under any circumstances, the candidate in presidents of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovski arrived in Lithuania. It is reported by LRT.

According to him, the politician came to Lithuania after was arrested in Belarus for about seven hours.
The Minister did not specify in what way and at what time Tikhanovski came to Vilnius and what are her future plans.
Linkevičius added that he had tried to contact Tikhanovski all night long looking for her.
The night before Tikhanovski visited the Belarusian CEC. She filed a complaint against the election results in connection with the identified violations of the law during the counting of votes and demanded a recount. After that she couldn’t communicate for several hours.
Election of the President of Belarus passed on August 9. After the polls closed in several cities of the Republic began an unauthorized protest against electoral fraud, in which police used against the demonstrators with tear gas, stun grenades and rubber bullets.
