The protection of personal data of citizens is particularly relevant in the context of digitalization of economy, said on Monday Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the head of Roskomnadzor Andrey Fake.
"We all talk, and not just talk about it, and are taking vigorous steps of the digitization of our economy and all life in General, and the social sphere. In this regard, of course, particularly relevant is the issue of protection of personal data", – said the head of state, asking his interlocutor to start the report with this topic.
Putin also reminded that the law provides nine components of administrative offences in the sphere of violation of citizens ‘ rights. He asked how Roskomnadzor builds work in this area.
