On 10 August the city launched the educational project of the city government "Summer school career". 200 students and graduates to the capital will have intensive classes, according to the portal of the mayor and government of Moscow.
Participants will gain in-demand knowledge and develop professional skills. "We start with a unique educational project for young people. Year career school online from the comfort of home for a short time to develop professional and personal skills to take in the specificity of urban projects, to get acquainted with talented young people and professionals in municipal government, to get behind the scenes of the city and to look at Moscow through the eyes of others", – said the Deputy head of the state service and personnel of the city government Polina Loginova.
So, guys starting out, I had to pass selection. About five thousand people have applied on the career portal. To do this, they needed to record a video interview, to be tested.
In 2020, the format of the project "Summer school career" has changed, and now lectures and master-classes will be held in online mode.
Classes covered a wide range of projects in Moscow, ranging from key areas of innovative development and management of urban infrastructure to build a successful career.
"this year, 200 people – the finalists of the summer career schools and overall the best students and graduates – on the results of the contest will get a paid internship in the government of Moscow", – said Loginov.
In addition to the internships in the government of the capital, graduates will receive the most important demand on the labour market knowledge. The internship lasts six months. Senior students and graduates for six months will be able to try their hand in three different places.
The trainees conclude a contract. For their work they receive a salary of 23 thousand rubles – for students on assignments for 20 hours per week. 40 thousand rubles will pay graduates undertaking internships for a full working day.
Each trainee is attached mentor who oversees the internship. The internship program since 2011. For nine years, its graduates have become more than a thousand people.
