to help citizens with low levels of welfare and industry, the liberal Democrats proposed to abolish the vehicle tax in respect of the Russian cars. This initiative was made by the Deputy Vasily Vlasov in the letter sent to the Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov.
In his speech, which is quoted by RIA Novosti news Agency, he recalls the proliferation of Russia’s domestic car with a small engine capacity.
“These cars are becoming citizens with a low level of welfare, – said the MP, so it would be advisable to abolish the vehicle tax in the territory of the Russian Federation in cars of domestic brands.”
This step, Vlasov added, will be a small measure of economic support to individuals and significant for the domestic auto industry.
