He recalled that since January this year in his area of responsibility includes the socio-economic development of the regions of the North Caucasus. “Today we begin work on the territory of Stavropol. This is my first visit to the region in this capacity. Today the investment portfolio of Stavropol consists of 200 projects with a total value of 243 billion rubles. At the moment it has invested more than 99 billion and created 2.4 thousand jobs. The state shall support projects in the field of tourism, industry and agriculture. In the framework of the state program “Development of Severo-the Caucasian Federal district” being implemented in the region 4 of the investment project with state support total cost of 2.7 billion rubles. Stavropol Krai is among the three leading country producing regions of grain crops.
“Stavropol region is rich, edge-paced. At the same time, the indicators related to the investment of one person, with gross regional product is below the national average. The work to be great. She’s already under the leadership of the region. After the trip we will work in the Russian government in order to help the region”, said Yuri Trutnev.
One of the leading in the Stavropol region remains tourism, which the region is 36 investment projects with a total value of 30.8 billion rubles. They will create more than 3 thousand jobs. As noted by Yuri Trutnev, the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters has long been one of the centers of recovery of ruassian. At the same time, according to Vice-Premier for the growth of tourism it is necessary to improve the quality of services provided and of service to the world level.
According to the Governor of Stavropol territory Vladimir Vladimirov, the hospitality of the Caucasian Mineral Waters 430 includes collective and specialized accommodation facilities, which welcome up to 50 thousand people at a time. However, the successful development of tourism prevents the low level of profitability of a large number of sanatoriums, wear engineering, utilities and transport networks.
Yuri Trutnev was acquainted with the work of objects related to the production chain of mineral water, in particular, called for mineral water and a plant for its bottling. Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Agency of the Far East to attract investment and support exports (ANO IPA) to analyse the attractiveness to investors of enterprises of the Caucasian Mineral Waters for the production of mineral water.
During a visit to Sochi Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of economic development to consider the project in the Stavropol region of velocirapture and to explore possible sources of funding. The project “Kavminvodskaya VelociRaptor” involves the creation of 75 miles of trails for Cycling a width of from 2.5 to 8 meters, including the launch of the 10 circular routes on rough terrain. It is planned that Cycling will bring together city Lermontov, Zheleznovodsk and Mineralnye Vody urban region.
