Acting Governor of Khabarovsk Krai Mikhail Degtyarev said that Yevgeny Nikonov from the Department of health is the government of the Khabarovsk territory the position of Deputy Chairman on social issues.
"At the regional headquarters for the coronavirus presented today the Eugene L. Nikonova. He will assume the position of Deputy Chairman of the Krai government on social issues. In the near future I will sign the corresponding order. Evgeny Leonidovich worked as a head of Department in the Department of health of Moscow," he said in Instagram.
Degtyarev noted that Nikonov: "a competent health professional and, importantly, Khabarovsk". He graduated from the far Eastern state medical University, worked in the health care system of the region, and then moved to Moscow.
The position of Deputy Chairman for social Affairs from July 2019 is Yuri Minayev. Official information on his dismissal was not published.
Since its arrival in the region Degtyarev has already appointed a new first Deputy Chairman of the Krai government — head of the office of the Governor and Cabinet of the region Alexander Nikitin, who has previously directed the office of the state Duma Committee on physical culture, sport, tourism and youth Affairs. Degtyarev was appointed acting Governor of Khabarovsk Krai on 20 July instead of Sergey Furgala, who dismissed from his post in connection with loss of trust after he was detained and arrested on suspicion of involvement in organized crime groups and custom-made murders of businessmen in the early 2000-ies. Furgal is in Lefortovo prison, pleads not guilty.
