The corresponding document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information. The law was passed by the Parliament on July 21 and approved by the Federation Council on 24 July.
The document stipulates that the decision on the voting at elections or referendums for several days in a row will make the election Commission organizing the election or referendum.
The decision can only be made within 10 days after official publication of decision to call the election or referendum and then not subject to revision.
The document also stipulates that the duration of the election may not exceed three days.
