Researchers from the Archaeological Museum in poznań (Poland) was able to decipher rock art symbols in Egypt, whose age is 5000 years, and came to the conclusion that the emergence of ancient Egyptian civilization contributed to the resources of the Libyan desert.

according to Archaeology.wiki, Polish researchers have been examining the inscriptions, images and symbols carved on rocks in the desert and in the oasis of Dakhla. Their interpretation suggests that raw materials are brought from the Libyan desert to the West and the smaller Arabian desert to the East contributed to the rise of the Egyptian civilization.

Inscriptions indicate that more than 5000 years ago the desert was crossed by the caravans that brought various raw materials for construction and the future of the country of the pharaohs. And in the days of the first pharaohs, they also brought raw materials for the construction of giant monuments and tombs. In particular, one of the types of exported raw materials mentioned under the name ‘mephat.

“We suspect that it was one of the most common in this district the slate, rich in iron oxides, says Dr. Paul Polkowski of the Archaeological Museum in poznań. – Probably, it was used to produce a powder and the manufacture of red paint, which, in turn, can be used for decoration of tombs”.

that the desert caravans had a large number of scientists no doubt. As an example, they cite the hill located to the southwest of the Dakhla oasis. It is dotted with various inscriptions. It follows that the caravans were sent by rulers such as Cheops is the Pharaoh who built the Great pyramid at Giza.

In recent decades, archaeologists have found a few places in the Libyan desert, which was recognized by the sites. It was the whole system. A small Parking lot located about every 30 km, large – every 90 km.

they travelers were supplied with water and feed for animals. These lots appeared thousands of years ago. Their creation made it possible to establish regular communication between Dahlai and Jebel Uweinat.

“Copper supplied from the Sinai Peninsula and the distant Nubia lay South of Egypt, continues Dr. Polkowski. – It was used to make tools that were required for the processing of stone blocks for the construction of temples and pyramids. If not for these materials and other resources, Egyptian civilization probably would have looked very different”.
