Acting Governor of Khabarovsk Krai Mikhail Degtyarev in an interview with the General producer of TV channel RTVi Sergei Shnurov said that in the region came provocateurs from other countries, including from Georgia.
According to the head Degtyarev, from the first actions in support of the former Governor Sergey Furgala in Khabarovsk was not the organizers, but over time the meetings became interested in provocateurs, including foreigners.
“I said one thing, that the righteous anger of the people of the Khabarovsk territory I understand. I understand that no organizers of the first shares, the procession was not. It’s true. And all this, in righteous anger, on the mass, of course, flew to the edge of all known crooks who organizes, pumped, provocations and others, including foreigners. … They’re here, we know, including from Georgia,” – said Degtyarev in an interview with RTVi.
Wednesday Degtyarev said that the overall situation in the Khabarovsk gives “cautious optimism”, the protesters after talking with him calm down.
At the beginning of last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that sent Furgala resign in connection with loss of trust, and the post of the acting head of the region offered to take Degtyarev, who up to this point was a Deputy of the state Duma from LDPR. Furgal is the same party.
The former Governor was arrested in connection with the investigation of the case against an organized criminal group which is involved in a number of especially serious crimes against businessmen in 2004-2005 in the Khabarovsk territory and Amur region.
