Directorate of the State Hermitage Museum will double the number of sessions and will once again provide free admission to the Museum children up to 7 years, reports TASS with reference to appeal to visitors of the General Director of the Museum Mikhail Piotrovsky.

According to Piotrowski, it was counted, the number of visitors passing through the halls, and decided that the number of sessions can be increased. People will be allowed into the Museum every half hour. "We have counted the money and found that we can afford to take children up to 7 years. Thus, from August 1, children under 7 years free entry to all our routes, which do not assume the tour service," he said.

Piotrovsky added that from 1 August will be open for tour visits the facility in the "Old village", Menshikov Palace, Winter Palace of Peter and the Museum of the Porcelain factory, and not just the main Museum complex on Palace embankment and General staff building.
