the Exhibition “Memory” brought together more than 200 paintings and photographs, depicting images of veterans who with each passing year there are fewer and chronicle the major events of the war. Captured the artist moments – the defense of Moscow, or the siege of Leningrad is etched in my memory stronger than official reports.
Contemporary photographers visited the old battlefields and showed how they look these days. Somewhere in its course flows the peaceful life and the land is still covered with the scars of trenches, barbed wire and helmets of fallen soldiers.
the First exhibition will take Belgorod from 4 to 20 August in the Exhibition hall “Russia”. Next, the exhibition will travel to Sebastopol, where from 27 August to 17 September everyone will be able to visit her in the Military-historical Museum of fortification structures of defense of the Russian Federation and in the Museum complex “Michael’s battery”.
the Residents of Stavropol the exposition will be open from 24 September to 11 October in the Stavropol regional Museum of fine arts. In Volgograd the exhibition will be held from 19 October to 8 November in the exhibition room of the Children’s art school № 11.
In St. Petersburg the exhibition will be open to the public from 14 to 28 November in the exhibition hall of the St. Petersburg branch of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia on Nevsky prospect. And the final part of the project will be held in Moscow from 3 to 20 December in the exhibition hall of Moscow Union of Artists.
the Initiators of the project were the Russian Fund of culture, the Creative Union of artists of Russia and Moscow Union of artists with the participation of the Russian Academy of arts.
