The train is decorated with images of folk crafts of Russia, was launched on Monday in the Moscow metro, the correspondent of TASS from the depot "Red roof".
The train will run on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line (blue line) within six months. His cars are painted inside and outside. They include images of famous Russian brands – art weapons of Kizlyar, North painting, Gorodets painting, Dymkovo toy, German lace, goldwork embroidery from Torzhok, Gzhel porcelain, Palekh miniature, and many others.
Social project, according to the authors, will allow passengers of the Moscow metro "learn about the historical, cultural and natural uniqueness, the special traditions of the regions of Russia, to reveal the national identity and cultural sovereignty of the peoples of the multinational country," it is also expected that it "will promote the development of domestic tourism".
The project "Folk art" #RUCRAFTS implement the Rospatent and the Association of "National art crafts of Russia".
