In Berlin detained the driver of the car that morning on July 26, drove into a crowd of people on Hardenbergplatz in the district of Charlottenburg. As a result of the collision injured at least seven people, three of them are in serious condition.
As wrote in his Twitter the Berlin police, the driver is detained, investigation is conducted of the incident. “At the moment there is no indication that he acted out of political or religious motives”, says the police.
To help the wounded and restore calm were involved firefighters and rescue helicopters.
