In Vladivostok held a dress rehearsal of parade of ships in honor of Day of the Navy. Solemn passage for the first time in the modern history of the Pacific fleet is in the waters of the Golden horn Bay, reported in a press-service TOF.
On the front barrels from the Golden bridge-built warships of the main classes – the flagship of the Pacific fleet of the order of Nakhimov missile cruiser “Varyag” and the large anti-submarine ship “Admiral Panteleev”. In the front line are the Corvette “Loud”, small anti-submarine ship “Korean”, missile boat “P-18”, base minesweeper “BT-100” and the diesel submarine “Komsomolsk-on-Amur”.
Commander of the Pacific fleet, Admiral Sergey Avakyants boat “Hurricane” bypassed parade of ships and congratulated the crews on the holiday, – told the chief of Department of information support a press-services VVO on Pacific fleet, captain 2nd rank Nikolay Voskresensky. – During the exercise the commander of the Pacific fleet finally checked the readiness of the ships and personnel for tomorrow’s parade, and worked the duration of the main episode of the holiday.
In Avacha Bay on the Kamchatka Peninsula formed parade of eight warships of the Pacific fleet which will take part in the naval parade. Two state lines moored nuclear-powered missile submarine cruiser of strategic purpose “Ryazan”, a border guard ship of the FSB in the East Arctic area “Baikal”, a large landing ship “Admiral Nevelskoy”, modernized small rocket ship “Tornado”, sea trawler MT-265, rescue ship “alagez”, cable laying vessel “Biryusa” and the latest hydrographic ship “Alexander Rogotsky”.
