the staff of the Moscow library on the weekends tell readers mos.ru about books that can appeal to the whole family. Head of library № 126 Anna Solovyeva younger readers are advised to familiarize with the stories of Astrid Lindgren and Tamara Hook, and the older guys with the fiction of Andrei Zhvalevsky and Eugene Pasternak.
“Children with Vociferous street” Astrid Lindgren
good literature should be taught from early childhood. It is possible to carry the works of the Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren. All know the characters that he created: a man in the Prime of life Carlson, strong girl Pippi Longstocking, the bully Emil I lönneberga and brave robber’s daughter Ronnie.
in addition to them, there is another Lindgren character, the younger one is a funny girl with a lively character Lotte. Together with his brother Jonas and sister MIA-Maria they sometimes put on the ears of all the street where you live. Their antics, the instigator of which is a Lotta stubborn, make you smile and adults, and children. The books have continued — “About the Lotta from the Noisy street.” In it, the girl is two years older than she is five years old. Astrid Lindgren wrote the first part of the novels in 1958 and the second in 1961, around the same time with the first two books about Carlson.
“bringing down the House” Tamara Hook
Another funny story for kids — “bringing down the House”, which was created by Tamara Kryukova, winner of various literary awards. The book is in our library very popular.
one day the girl Agatha is not without adventure and funny stories, and all because she had an unusual friend — Trishka. He only comes to children, while adults can’t see him. Because of his pranks Agatha every evening is again in the corner — punished, but quite pleased with how the day went.
“the six bullerby children” Astrid Lindgren
I Want to recommend another book written by Astrid Lindgren. Her childhood was spent in a village in the province of småland — in the birthplace of the father. In 1947, when Astrid was already 40 years old, she wrote the story “the six bullerby children”, inspired by nostalgia for the childhood years and smolandskih color.
You’ll appreciate the story about seven year old Lizzie, who is faced with cognitive dissonance. Mom thinks she’s old enough to wash dishes, and older brothers Lasse and Bosse does not accept to play the Indians, because for them it is small.
If you will like this book, be sure to read and continue “Again about the bullerby children was shot” (“And again about the bullerby children was shot”) and “Fun to live in Bullerby”.
“the adventures of the family from Cherbourg,” Jean-Philippe Arrou-Vinho
“the adventures of the family from Cherbourg” is a series of seven books about Amoy ordinary French family, which is constantly something going on. Interestingly, all of the characters name is almost the same: dad — John, mom — Jeannine, six sons also of Jane, their names differ only by letter — A, B, C, G, D, and E. Many of the episodes the author — by the way, Jean took from his childhood, he also grew up with several brothers.
I like the way the books are called: “Scrambled eggs with sugar”, “Flying cheese”, “Soup goldfish”, “Chocolate holidays”, “the icing on the cake”, “a Skewer of radishes”, “the Pea for six”. Let the name not mislead you — the story had nothing to do with books of recipes. Sure: each of these books will provide you many fun-filled family evening. Together with children you will laugh over the antics of the brothers Jany — because in a family with six boys just can’t be boring.
In my experience, children reading this series of books voraciously and demand more.
“Time is always good” by Andrei Zhvalevsky and Eugene Pasternak
In my opinion, this is one of the best books for Teens at the moment. 10 years ago writing tandem received the award for “Alice”, and a year later the book won the third place in the national contest “Kniguru”.
This is a fantasy story in which a boy from 1980 is in 2018, and the girl from the modern world goes back in time. Both of them should understand that better computers with gadgets or games in the yard with friends. Or, maybe, all have their pros?
Our readers when you return this book back saying that it is impossible to put down.
“the Devil bald” Artem Lyakhovich
“Hell bald” is a small tale of two modern teenagers Marche and Lance, friendship, family values and teenage rebellion. In 2016 she took second place in the contest of literature for children and teenagers “Kniguru”.
the Characters are very different in character but both are lonely and have difficulties in families — it unites them. In the end, the guys dare to gamble: to escape from the house to the Blue lake. For Marika it is associated with the happiest childhood memory.
Going to a way, they have no idea what difficulties and dangers await them. Lanka, for example, thinks that it can solve any question. This is partly true, but the map helps, but until you have it and lose it very easy.
