Scheduled for 2022 iPhone will receive periscope telephoto lens. Reported by MacRumors, citing a report Min-Chi Ko (Ming-Chi Kuo).
The insider said that in 2020 and 2021, Apple will negotiate with new suppliers of optical equipment. The Corporation intends to enter into supply contracts with companies Sunny Optical and Semco. The latter will provide the delivery of parts of telephoto lenses, a periscope-type cameras for smartphones.
Ko believes that the 2022 Apple will introduce the first smartphone with a periscope camera. Presumably the iPhone 14 will have a more advanced optical zoom, than in the actual machines. Released in fall of 2019 iPhone 11 Pro Max has a triple chamber with a wide, ultrawide and telephoto lens with a resolution of 12 megapixels each.
The publication noted that the technology periscopic lenses have found use in some of the flagship smartphones on the market. In particular, such a lens has a Huawei P30 Pro, released in 2019.
Earlier it became known that planned for 2021 iPhone 13 will differ slimmest body. According to insiders, this will be possible thanks to the adoption of OLED-matrix of a new type of integrated touch layer.
