Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin said that the government will help the acting Governor of the Khabarovsk Mikhail Degtyarev. About it reports TASS.
During report in the state Duma Mishustin promised to call Degtyarev in the near future and to agree on measures to support the region.
“today it is absolutely obvious that the government will he [Degtyarev – approx.ed.] to help,” said the Prime Minister.
According to him, the aid, in particular, will have a Plenipotentiary representative of the President in the far Eastern Federal district Yuri Trutnev.
As reported by “the Rambler”, Degtyarev became acting head of the Khabarovsk territory after the arrest of Governor Sergey Furgala. Both are members of the liberal democratic party.
Furgal led the region in 2018 and July 2020, he was detained. The Investigative Committee reported that he is suspected of organizing murders and attempted murders of businessmen in 2004-2005 in the territory of the Khabarovsk territory and Amur region.
