Travelers who have purchased tours on the Russian resorts will receive compensation costs in the amount of from 5 to 15 thousand rubles, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. According to him, on these purposes is planned to allocate from the budget about 15 billion rubles, reports TASS.
The statement of the head of the Cabinet was made in the State Duma during the reading of the report on work of the Russian government. Mishustin said that the payment in the amount of from 5 to 15 thousand rubles will be paid depending on the purchased tour. It is noteworthy that compensation can be obtained for tickets purchased throughout 2020. The head of government stressed that the money put the rest in specific Russian regions, the list of which has already been compiled by the Federal tourism Agency.

Mishustin said that only compensation from the budget will be allocated about 15 billion rubles. According to him, the tourism industry is one of the most promising in the country. The Prime Minister also added that Russian firms are in “a difficult position”. In this regard, the Russian government provides support to the representatives of the sphere: for example, the tour operators have already been granted subsidies in the amount of 3.5 billion rubles.
