Acting Governor of Khabarovsk Krai Mikhail Degtyarev in the course of his submission in his new position, said that he hoped for the restoration of the streets of Khabarovsk peace and harmony.
Degtyarev in his first speech as acting asked all members of the Khabarovsk government to work, to remain in their seats until further notice. He thanked all the representatives of the agencies and officials that in the last days in the region the situation remained generally stable.
"Peace and harmony, I’m sure, will come to the streets of cities in Khabarovsk Krai and in every home in the Khabarovsk region. Willing to work with you day and night. I promise you that the light in my window in the office on the 10th floor will burn until late at night," he said.
