According to him, Kiev hopes that they will be attended by NATO countries.
At the same time, Taran said that Ukraine sees no threat of attack from Russia during the exercises “Caucasus-2020”.
We will remind, earlier on Friday, defence Minister army General Sergei Shoigu at a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry said that the decision of President Vladimir Putin, Russia declared sudden check of troops of the southern and Western military districts, and separate connections under the Central government, Navy and marine corps.
The Minister pointed out that the inspection of troops is carried out to assess the ability of the armed forces to ensure security in the South-West of the country and preparation for the exercises “Caucasus – 2020”.
